    New forums, new poll.

No longer is it 'what is your favorite sport', but now it is 'what sports do you follow', allowing you to choose as many sports as you'd like from the poll choices above. The poll only allows for ten options, so I'm guessing "other" will be getting quite a few votes too.

EPL / FL - Bolton Wanderers
    NHL - Dallas Stars
Rugby (Union, not League) - England (plus massive amounts of respect to New Zealand)

I also don't mind a good game of cricket (prefer 20/20), and while I don't subscribe to a particular team, Aussie Rules is a fantastic sport to watch.

The main ones I follow are (association) football, rugby union, Formula One and to a lesser extent the NFL and track & field.

As for teams I only really follow Arsenal in football and England/Scotland/Great Britain in international competition.

I think college should be kept separate from professional. Coming from NYC, with multiple professional teams, I couldn't care about college sports at all

Yeah, I wanted to, but I didn't want to use up two spots on the poll for alternate varieties of football and basketball especially when most people who enjoy one sport enjoy the sport on both levels.

maybe group all college sports together. I know people who know nothing about sports, especially the professional level, but because they are from small towns or sports schools they follow college sports just to root for their school.

I try to follow baseball and football as much as I can. Listening to local sports stations makes it easier.

    Indians and Browns.
I've got season tickets to the Indians this year, so I'm going to be watching a lot of baseball this summer.
The Browns on the other hand, I'm more ashamed to be a Browns fan after that collapse and the disasterous offseason they've had so far than I have been in the past. But at least I'm not a Raiders fan, right @Tubby23 and @TD . :p

I also selected the Olympics sports, but I can only follow them during the Olympics. It's impossible to keep up and actually watch all of the Winter Sports competitions.

I'd rather be a Raiders fan than a Browns fan, at least we know Manziel is garbage ;)

It's still shocks me that there are still people who think Manziel belongs in this league... some even think he's going to start next season. [cringes]

Oh hey - I know this guy.

Quite the mix of teams for you. Where'd those come from? Always interesting when there's a decent spread, especially when it's not teams that are the traditional powers.

First sport I got into was baseball. I was living in California, about an hour outside of the Bay Area, and it was the year of the Battle of the Bay. Couldn't really stand all the "Bash Brothers" crap, so I picked the Giants for my team. Then an earthquake hit. MY BAD.

By the time I got into basketball, I was living in Florida. Orlando Magic just seemed WAY cooler than the Miami Heat. Then shortly thereafter we got Shaq. So, I'm batting .500 at this point.

When I first started watching football, I was actually more into the Miami Dolphins (Florida and all, and that Dan Marino sure looked like he could hold a ball for a kick) and I used to constantly make fun of my grandmother for always rooting for the stupid New Orleans Saints, 'cause they were SOOOO bad. After she passed away, I felt bad that such a shitty team lost a fan, so I decided that would be my team from then on.

Just started getting into EPL a few years ago, and my good friend who got me hooked has always been a fan of Chelsea. So I basically became a fan of Chelsea. The first year I watched 90% of the games live was the year we kinda sucked in the Premier League, but still took the Champions League. So that was pretty awesome and I think I've basically made up for that damn earthquake finally.

I love your stories for each team. The fact that not one of them is just because they are the local flavor is great.

Yeah, it seemed like such a random grouping of teams, so it was cool to hear a unique reason for each.

I kind of knew them... Vash and I used to be close (online). Used to talk a ton on AIM, and I remember he told me the stories before. But in my old age, and time away, I'd forgotten.
