    coverage maps

the Lions can clinch a playoff spot with a win against Chicago or, I think, an Eagles loss to the Redskins

    neither will likely happen

It's also possible that the Lions
could end up winning the division

Whoa now, lets not get crazy. Green Bay is going to win the division. I can't see Detroit winning at Lambeau...

assuming Green Bay doesn't screw up at Tampa, that requires the Lions winning at Green Bay

I'm willing to bet a small number of people here weren't even born when the Lions last won in Green Bay

    I was 6

    I was 5.

Call me crazy but I think the Lions can win in Green Bay.

The Packers have been mostly unstoppable at home. It's unreal how great they've been at Lambeau the 6 games there. I'm not saying it will be easy, but I am pretty confident the Packers will win that one. Plenty of respect to the Lions though, if they had a decent kicker early in the season, they may have the division wrapped up already.

*obligatory "Lions are dumb and are going to lose a game they should be winning" post*

boy its gonna be fun making five of these next week (except the "they should be winning") part

I'd be angrier if they hadn't already clinched a spot though

Maybe they would have a better record if they ran Murray more often...

Murray is good but not as good as he seems. Trust me.

He honestly may not even be the starter next year.

He shouldn't be. We should be out getting into the market for a better RB1

Not really. He would be nothing without the blocking of the offensive line. He can't break tackles and is not an elusive guy. He picks up what is given to him created by the lanes of that offensive line.

That offensive line has been the best part of that offense.

When your competition is MJD and DMC that counts for nothing.

Definitely, they will struggle to replace someone like that.

I meant in terms of the running backs. He's the best running back they have.

    Poor wording on my part.

lol Browns suspending Gordon for the last game for a petty-ass little reason (he didn't attend the walk-through ) to **** him out of getting an accrued season that would let him be an UFA next year.

The Browns owner is such a piece of **** (also a criminal, but then again this is also likely most sports owners).
