No seriously I want to know, I'm remember he was the QB at A&M that beat Alabama that one year where everyone was slurping up Alabama, and I guess he had good stats too?

Surely he didn't get all of that attention and hype just from that one game, right? Like how Clowney didn't get all that attention and hype just from one "big" tackle he made against Michigan a couple of years ago, right?

Sometimes I wish college football would stop being so popular, but then there'd be no TV revenue money to not give student athletes, so what can you do.

sorry for the rant, coverage maps are here

This game has been awesome. An old-school defensive battle. The NFC West is great to watch.

The Alabama games were what gave him the most attention. He always played like that. He's just another RGIII, Kaepernick, Vick type player. Run first, throw later. I don't like the way he throws the ball, I don't like the way he holds the ball, and I don't like where he throws the ball. The way he plays is too risky.
I honestly doubt he'll be like Russell Wilson where he plays smart, limits turnovers, and still has the ability to run. I expect a flash in the pan type player like RGIII that gets figured out real quick or gets injured.

Interesting to me that Lindley comes in when Stanton goes down instead of Logan Thomas.

Stanton can't put pressure on one leg and was just carted off.

These Cards can't catch a break.

And Rucker just got hurt too.

I was also surprised about Lindley. I definitely thought it was Thomas who was the backup.

Arians was just charged a timeout for challenging a play that was going to be reviewed anyways. I understand that, but can anyone explain the Bengals situation from a few weeks ago where Marvin Lewis did the same thing and nothing happened?

He showed up at A&M, played magic bull**** football for two seasons that was fun to watch despite also being dependent on receivers bailing him out on some dumbass throws (Mike Evans is a really good receiver, turns out), and won a Heisman on it.

Also he partied a lot and kind of came off as a spoiled brat given that he's from a rich family, the former earned him a lot of media attention. Which is silly when you compare benign partying to the likes of Jameis Winston.

Anyone else feel like maybe playing Manziel wasn't a good idea?

I guess they're learning that he fits right in with the same old Browns.

What a tough game for the Packers. I don't want to put everything on one game but this shows they need home field advantage to have a chance. If they lose this game, it's going to be hard to have that #1 seed.

Bills deserve to be the floating turd of a team that they are.

**** that's an annoying, bull**** loss. Catch the ****ing ball instead of bouncing it constantly into another player's hands. ****.

Nothing annoys me more than losses based on receivers just ****ing up and not catching balls they've caught a million times. ****ing christ.

Worst Browns game I've seen in a while. Only good play was the Craig Robertson INT, and even then all the yards were taken back because of a stupid penalty...

The way the team was playing I doubt Hoyer would have been any better.

There is no hypocrisy here. The team played great last week... played like **** today. No QB could have succeeded in that game.

I know it's early, but what's going on with the Eagles? They look completely out of sync.

No. Your offense still played like **** last week too.

    Your hypocrisy comes from this;

The Browns defense plays well but the rest of the team sucks = OMG Hoyer is the worst QB ever!

Manziel plays worse than Hoyer has in any game this season = OMG our whole team sucked!

You are sounding just as bad as all the other Manziel groupies. Even though you've stated you allegedly don't believe he is the answer, you make comically hypocritical statements.

Johnny Manziel had a QB Rating of 1.0.

Stupid Packers might have cost me a free pizza this week in my town's newspaper football pick'em. I picked every other game correctly. Here's hoping I still get my damn pizza.

    Go Pats!
