If Titanfall 2 doesn't have a player base right now, I'm shocked. I've heard nothing but good things about that from almost everyone.

As for the topic... I'm still playing Overwatch. Also hopped back into some Dynasty Warriors, I'm playing DW8XL "Complete" Edition on PC. Disappointed that "Complete" doesn't mean "all current DLC included"... what's worse, is that I've noticed that some of the DLC isn't even available for the PC version. At least it's mostly cosmetic stuff, just outfits, some weapons, and some stages (as if there isn't enough of all of those as is). I understand that the graphics are actually below the quality of the PS4 version even though it was released at the same time and the lack of mod support for the game (due to Koei's encryption) means I'm not going to be seeing a graphical upgrade over the past two DW games. I'm still in the feeling that DW6 was the best looking one, and that game came out 9 years ago.

I'm not surprised. Jet packs have killed the game. And now the weapon grades? It's become pay to win. You need expensive everything to be able to play the game successfully. You almost need a Scuf controller, thumb pads, headphones and a ton of cash and luck (not to mention no life and a lot of free time) to succeed. I've been playing since launch (until FF15 comes out tomorrow). I'm not good, but I don't suck either. I typically have around a 1.0 K:D ratio which is average. And if you play old school, you die horribly. Jet packs make it so you're only successful if you can jump around and land more shots than your opponent. Playing MWR is a breath of fresh air, but that game made it so you suck until around level 10, so I've not been playing that either.

I enjoyed the CoD campaign, but I'm more than disappointed in the MP.

I havent played a MW since 2 and havent played a CoD online since CoD 2 so im out of the loop but all I heard is hate for this game and I'm not sure why other than space is stupid. Based off that im not surprised no ones playing it, I also wonder how much of that is an exaggeration. Could I log in right now and see 100 full servers or would it be 5 full servers and a few sparsely populated?

Titanfall was never a game I paid close attention to but the gameplay did look fun and interesting and from what I understand people liked the first one but even I kind of understood that no one really asked for a sequel. Its a game no ones been talking about.

I've been playing Battlefield 1 since I got it about a week and a half ago while it was on sale for Black Friday. I cant say its grown on my as quickly as BF4 did and I certainly dont love it as much as 1942 or BF2 but its not terrible. Worth a go if you can get it when its next on sale, but only the base version. Its not worth the $80 or $130 for the other editions.

I'm not sure, but they did have a side by side numbers comparison. At it's peak it had Farming Sim 17 at nearly 27k online and IW was at around 18k or something like that.

As for Titanfall 2, I love it. I haven't played an insane amount, but I've logged around 8 hours in so far and I thoroughly enjoy it. A lot more customization this time around and a few more options in terms of pilot abilities and way more titan choices.

If it weren't for Overwatch and WoW I'd play it more, but they kind of kill my only free time.

If it weren't for Overwatch, I'd be playing more games in general. I will say that outside of the first day of the Christmas event, I've pretty much only played Dynasty Warriors 8 this month.

I've been playing Destiny for the better part of the last two years. With a smattering of Fallout 4, Fallout 3, Mass Effect series, and Burnout Paradise.

    But mainly just Destiny.

Did you see they just announced DW9? It's an open world game and they are building all of China. Seems like the biggest changes since the second game.

I don't know if going open world is the best idea just yet. The graphics still look like 2007. The AI is still really dumb and increasing the difficulty only increases their odds of blocking every attack in addition to how much damage they can take and give. The combat system still needs an upgrade too.

I've played 8 for over 100 hours now (according to Steam), and I still wish Ambition mode wasn't so much of a grind. Making it open world isn't going to make it better.

Still... I love these games and would still get it... as long as Gundams aren't involved.

I think the format is starting to get a bit stale though. Going open world is definitely a risk and could fail, but I like that they're at least trying to mix it up a bit. I never really tried Ambition mode since I found there was enough content with the story, alternate story and extra missions, but if they took concepts from that mode and mixed it in with the story it could be interesting.

The graphics will probably be terrible although it will be their first eighth gen game, since DW8 is basically just a port of the PS3/360 version. Still, it's never really stopped me before.

Ambition mode is like a shitty version of Conquest mode from DW7.

I feel like if someone else more competent developed a DW game, you'd be able to get the same amount of enemies (if not more) on screen, with more detail, and still have a consistent framerate... they'd also change up the combat system by now. All W-Force does is add random shit to what's already there instead of actually changing up the combat system. The one time they tried changing it, they made it worse by making it so you don't even need to hit any other button than X or Square in DW6.
I wish they'd follow the story in chronological order. I'm not a fan of the way the did the story in DW8. The Wu clan was involved in the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the battle at Hu Lao Gate, but the story starts with where Sun Jian is killed by Lui Biao. You only play the Rebellion as Shu and Hu Lao Gate as Wei and Shu in DW8. I feel like DW4 and DW7 did the plot the most justice. If they're going to keep the factions split, I feel like all of the heroes involved in the battle for that faction that aren't late battle reinforcements should be playable from the start.

Blindsided by the release of Telltale's The Walking Dead: S.3, i plan on downloading that and cannonballing through the first two seasons again. I only got through Ep.2 of S.2, before getting sidetracked.

I hate that game so much, give it an F (0/5) how ever you want to think of it. Open world racing games not fun, give me burnout 3

After finishing Final Fantasy XV and the Ratchet and Clank remake (which is awesome), I decided to give System Shock 2 a shot, and it doesn't hold up that well. Clunky UI, re-spawning enemies, limited ammo and gun degradation and can't even use the assault rifle until gun level 6 just made it not very fun. Get rid of the enemy re-spawning and I probably could do it, but with all the back tracking and unlimited enemies, just took the fun out of the game. I don't want to go around with a wrench and just kill everything with it. It doesn't control well enough or have a good enough system to really have a stealth/melee system. I can see why it was great in 1999, but its not 1999, its nearly 20 years later and game play improvements have come a long way.

Didn't copy my DW8 save data over to another hard drive and lost it when I reinstalled windows for my new motherboard. So I basically lost almost 150 hours of progress.

Well, I'm still enjoying a free game. yes, the open world map is a pain to navigate, plus all the race unlocks per ranking depreciate the overall playability. it's still a free game, and the first game i've played in a long while.
Maybe i will boot up my old PS2 and play more Takedown and Revenge.

Also, The Cave was Free with Gold, and since mine may expire at the end of the month, may as well get as many as i can.

The biggest problem with Burnout Paradise is the lack of a race restart function. You lose a race, you're forced to drive back to the start.

There was an update, probably with the Island DLC, that enabled you to restart using the D-Pad. I've done that a few times, usually when i entered into a fishtail spin-athon... Oh, you clipped this parked car while boosting? Enjoy a fishtail! Trying to overcorrect this fishtail? Enjoy another one! oh look, you've spent so long trying to get straightened out that your rubber-banded opponents have already finished the race! By the way, enjoy this random fish tail!

I honestly don't mind just quitting races that i've screwed up on... i'm going to look for a way to disable crash cameras. those are annoying. You've slammed into a wall! Enjoy this eight-hour slow-mo documentary depicting your crash!

A free game, albeit game that's been out nearly 10 yrs and is a $20 game, is something i'll try atleast. Worst case, gets deleted- like Rainbow 6 and I Am Alive.

I is sad. Season 3 is on the PS4 and XB1... not on the old generation. :(

Still running around Paradise City in Burnout Paradise.

Wee, got the "Professional" license in Burnout Paradise, and i could go and get the Elite License but requires completing ALL the races and challenges. I don't like doing the Stunt runs. Blah.
Also, i hate the handling of the speed-based racers. in one race, i would spin out constantly when trying to make a simple turn. and they have no "structural intergrity" (read:health). I grazed one car- and i was wrecked. wtf!?!
also, on of my pet peeves with the Burnout games- 20 sec cinematics when you crash. "Yay, you crashed! Enjoy this slo-mo documentary of your crash- that doesn't stop time, so your ten second lead is null as when you spawn, you'll get rear ended and sent slamming into a wall for another documentary! Huzzah!"

I may still try for all the cars, but now not so much.

Because i was bored, i decided to start up a new game of Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, now that i have the DLC. I'm going to try going sword and board, heavy armor. Last time i played, i think i went the Rogue route.
It's a bummer that this "Technicolor Elder Scrolls Clone" isn't getting any sequels. :(

I got Madden 17 on Super Bowl weekend for $18 on the playstation store so I've been playing that. The franchise mode has been overhauled finally and is fun to play. I am being the Titans because I wanted to do something different and its more fun than playing with the Patriots. I'm doing 15 minute quarters with accelerated clock down to 12 seconds and am currently 3-2 on the season. All stats are lifelike due to the clock. I got destroyed by Oakland and lost a nail biter to the Vikings. My biggest problem is interceptions. In past games, often the DBs would just knock the ball down, in this one they intercept everything. Marcus Mariota has a 68.5% completion percentage but 9 TDs to 11 INTs so far.

Running is actually hard and relies on you finding blocking rather than just bouncing around. DeMarco Murray has 445 yards with a 4.2 YPC in 5 games but most of those came on a 71 yard TD, 47 yard TD and 35 yarder. Other than that its very tight. New pre-play reads show blocking schemes and advantage points that are very cool to try and exploit.

Last game I led 24-7 with 5 minutes left in the game. The Dolphins scored a quick TD and then I pressed the wrong button to throw to and got a pick 6 against. I barely hung on after that. I ran down the clock and punted back to them with 30 seconds left. Luckily I forced a 4 and out turnover to seal it.

Very fun version of the game this year. Franchise is a ton better and the on field play is better. Reads and player skill is more important than finding cheese plays.

been playing The Last Guardian. I can tell it will be my least favorite of the three. It's okay but has been hard to get back into. Probably because the story doesn't grab me like the other two (so far). Also, it's a weird reversal. I've done plenty of escort missions in other games but I've always been the protector. Here, I am escorting the person that is protecting me. So that's a different subversion that I've needed some adjustment too.

Recently I've been playing Sleeping Dogs: Definitive edition, I got it for like $5 on PStore. I'm really liking it! So much fun to do, a fighting system that's not only mash the attack button and of course the brutal finishers! :D

The two DLCs were included as well so I'll get around to playing them when I finish the main game.

Just had a crazy game against the Colts - Mariota tore his MCL on the last play of the game against Cleveland so I'm stuck with Matt Cassel and Kellen Moore. Cassel throws 3 2nd quarter INTs and I hold them to 5 FGs so its 15-0 at halftime. In the second half I tie it on 2 TDs and then we trade TDs until it is 22-22. I hit the wrong button and throw a pick which is turned into a 6th FG. I'm down 25-22 with 2:20 left. I drive down to FG range only to get strip sacked and turn it over. Luckily I have all 3 timeouts and get the ball back. First play I'm running for my life and see DeMarco Murray wide open down the sideline and it turns into an 80 yard TD to go ahead 29-25 with 1:24 to go. Colts take it downfield and catch me in a bad zone and score a 54 yard TD to go back up 32-29. On the last play after two incomplete deep passes I hit Delainie Walker ahead of two guys but he's too slow and gets caught at the 17 yard line as time runs out. So now I'm 3-4 and relying on Matt Cassel (he went 31-47 for 422 3 TDs but 4 INTs and 2 fumbles in that game)
