...please just get through the first round, Dallas. That's all I'm asking for!

I think St. Louis is going to knock off Chicago. Not sure why. Gut feeling. I think Dallas can take St. Louis. They SHOULD beat Minnesota. I'm actually rooting for Dallas this year,

St. Louis was the stronger team of the two this year, definitely, but I'm not sure how they'll handle Chicago. I hope they'll knock them out in the first round, because you're right, Dallas can do quite well against the Blues. I'm also somewhat hoping their series goes to 7 games, tire them out a bit.

*Sigh* It's going to be Chicago and LA in the Western Conference Finals. Whoever wins is going to mop up the Easy(t).

    Predators in 7
    Kings in 6
    Stars in 7
    Blackhawks in 6
    Flyers in 7
    Penguins in 6
    Panthers in 5
    Lightning in 4

these will be 100% correct, particularly the lightning pick

Detroit wins game 1 and screws up everything!

Such a defeatist attitude! @Rachel please help him with his confidence!

Not sure I agree with that, it's not like Minnesota have been the strongest of teams finishing out the year. I'd hope for 6 or less, though I've got no illusions about Dallas sweeping in 4.

I act that way because its true, they're not winning either game in Detroit either, they can't even get it together against a half-dead Tampa team

also I would have a better life if Tyler Johnson stopped existing, between last year and this year I have grown immensely sick of this man

I like Detroit. I really hope they pull it off.

But... what the hell is going on in Anaheim?

...damn, a terrible performance for Dallas last night ensures there won't be a sweep. Now I'm just worried about a repeat performance from Dallas, that was shockingly bad!

Blues and Blackhawks are in a fight to the death, San Jose jumped out to a 2-0 lead only to lose in 6 games, Capitals are mopping up, Dallas giving up lots of goals, sounds about right.

Nashville making a push is interesting, though.

Chicago is on the brink! One more game, St. Louis and you finally get that monkey off your back. Then you probably get Dallas... if you get past them, the Kings or Sharks something. The West is brutal.

Dallas tried so hard to give that game away tonight. Took until the third period to get their act together, then they finally shut up shop and still tried to give it away at the death. 3-1 is nice, but they've got to get back to where they were in games 1 and 2 if they want to close this out.

When was the last time we had NHL playoffs in the round of 16, and not have a single sweep? That's what I take away as amazing this year.

The Flyers could make a comeback down 3-0. They've done it before and Washington is Washington!

St. Louis could close out the series tonight against Chicago and San Jose is on the brink of knocking out the Kings. This is either going to be awesome for every hockey fan outside of LA and Chicago or hilarious when both come back to win.

Blackhawks are on their way back! That is a heck of a series. The game was brutal in physicality and skill. Easily two of the best teams in the league.

Its amazing that the only team that actually came through and finished their opponent off last night was the Sharks

They really tried to give me one, too. That was too damn close to another collapse. I'm still on edge thinking about it! If they'd succeeded in giving that game away, too, ugh. Worst part: it only gets tougher from here...:fear:

Hey, at least you're not a Blues fan. It's going to be like a funeral procession there tonight. You'll be able to cut the tension with a butter knife.

Kind of bummed that the Panthers lost last night. I was enjoying that team and last night's game was so much fun.

Chicago is a good team. I would feel that way a bit more if it wasn't the Blackhawks.

Yeah, the Blues just can't catch a break running into good/hot first round opponents. They could have played 13 of the other 15 teams in the playoffs and been happy with their draw but instead...

Point taken, never count the Hawks out of anything. It'd be nice to see them eliminated, though, make sure we do get a new Champ this year. 4 in 7 would be ridiculous...
