We could definitely look into modifying the list of links to be slightly more relevant. We definitely don't need the Most Active Authors section, we know it's myself and Alu at the moment, and it's not terribly necessary :D.

Regarding the cheats, definitely the retro systems. Since I think 1998, I've been coming here for cheats and codes for the NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Gaemboy/Color, PS1, PS2, and PS3, I started playing Pirates! for the NES a couple of months ago and this website helped me to get a better understanding of what I was doing! Thank you for everything!

That's the stance we've taken so far, kicking off with the NES games at this point. We're getting through the list as quickly as we can to get those codes up and will then likely move onto the SNES from there. We'll hopefully have those completed in the very near future!

I don't have a definitive answer on that one, I'm afraid, but I'll absolutely look into it! I don't really see why we wouldn't be able to add back retro pc games, however ;).

Regarding the cheats, I have lurked for a long time now and used the cheat section a fair bit in the past.

For me the old computers like C64, Spectrum, Amstrad, Amiga & Atari ST are a must, nowhere else on the web had such a HUGE database of pokes and cheat codes for these systems, they definitely need to come back. There isn't many places now that have that kind of collection, there is the Zzap website for C64 and a resource website telling you what is in each issue but still nothing compared to here. Literally my visit today I came looking for cheats for Banshee on the Amiga 1200 to finally finish it after all these years to see this thread.

A one stop resource is definitely something to be proud of here, like I said, there is nowhere else on the web that covered the old machines to the extent you do here.

Thanks for your feedback, I'm certain we can add back the codes for these computers in the very near future :)

We should be able to accommodate some Windows PC games, though given the expansive library offered on the PC, I would expect the PC section will end up somewhat limited.

Update: As of the time of this posting, all available codes for NES games have been added into the Cheats & Codes section, located here: http://gamewinners.com/index.php?resources/

Our next move is either to the Sega Master System(SMS) or the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), though the choice of which console we move onto remains up to you. Which console would you prefer to see added to the database next?

start with whichever has fewer. This way it looks like more progress and you can say 2 systems are completed

I actually just started using the wayback machine to access old pages of game winners. I miss ye old game winners. I remember way back when I used to come here all the time to look up hints/secrets/unlockables for games from PS2 era and earlier. Every once in a while after the PS3 era began, I would visit there again for reference when I revisited older games.
