    Last two matches:
    1. Offense: Watchpoint Gibraltar - 4 kills, 10 deaths... still got Bronze on my team for kills. Made a couple dumb mistakes early. No one to kill the Widowmaker, Junkrat, or Mei. Tried switching to Winston after I got killed 3 times by a camping Widowmaker (Zen can't combat a Widow) because there was a Lucio at the time (who apparently didn't know how to play him). Launched myself to her location and was greeted by a turret and was promptly destroyed. Never saw Widowmaker again... instead I saw a Mei and a Junkrat hiding down in the valley where the first checkpoint is, with a Roadhog there to keep the main path busy. No one else playing support (guy playing Lucio switched to Tracer), switched back to and stuck with Zenyatta... wasn't going to do much of a difference with the others. Only a Reinhardt trying to play the objective with me trying to support him... Everyone else was playing TDM up top... nowhere near the objective. Never made it past that point.

    2. Defense, same map: 6 kills, 6/7 deaths (can't remember). Played as Zenyatta the whole time. Same situation. Everyone but a couple of us running around playing TDM. Actually had two guys trying to PTFO, a Torbjorn and a Roadhog. Still found myself forced to continue to back off trying to live while trying to keep the offensive push at bay... often solo... and not because we were trickling in. Most times, I was surrounded by teammates only for them to either push too far ahead for me to keep trying to heal them or just didn't play the objective.
One guy blamed the match on my choice of character. I'm not terrible with Zenyatta as long as people are actually trying to win and there isn't a Widowmaker making my life hell. Note, I got 6 kills. Match was a quicky, they only stalled twice for a bit while they regrouped and made their push. Silver in kills. SILVER WITH ZENYATTA AND SIX LOUSY KILLS!!! But it's my fault because I picked Zenyatta.

So that's what I'm dealing with. Matches that are wins feel too easy, matches that are losses feel like ass beatings. No middle ground. No way to properly improve as Zenyatta. Good news is my W/L ratio as Symmetra continues to increase... of course I only use her in maps that are extremely advantageous to use here... *cough* Anubis...

Side note: Zenyatta needs a buff in either HP or movement speed. The fact that you have to be in line-of-sight to properly use his Orbs means you have to be in the open at almost all times. Zenyatta could be an incredibly useful support player if he was capable of surviving.
Current health status of Zenyatta is like this:

Good news though, they're planning on a McCree nerf that reduces the damage of his "Fan the Hammer" move making it impossible to basically OHK tanks with the move after a stun. Too bad they plan on keeping the reload-cancel-roll exploit in the game that practically makes the damage reduction pointless because they can Stun-Fan-Roll-Fan.

They're also trying to find a way to buff D.Va. She is under used because of her lack of power and survivability compared to other tanks.
One of the devs also mentioned in the official forums that they're currently working on ways to implement a higher tick rate and server browser. Tick rate is being worked on Custom Servers, because testing an increased tick rate on quick match servers where people are actually playing would make too much sense.

If you guys are still playing, try out the Public Test Region. They have patches they might end up implimenting in the main game. Zenyatta is much better with 200HP and his Orbs of Harmony and Discord attach to characters almost immediately. D.Va's Ult has a shorter timer making it more effective, also D.Va isn't killed by it. Characters that can self heal can use that heal to increase their ult meter, but to balance it, they increased the time it takes to get the ult for those characters by ~10%. Soldier's spread works differently so it takes a bit longer to reduce the spread after you stop shooting. McCree's long distance shooting is improved to balance out the fact that he is now less effective against tanks in close range.

The big one is the new character: Ana, who is a support sniper. You shoot at teammates, and you heal them a bunch per shot. You shoot enemies and it hurts them. I don't think a headshot matters with Ana, the damage seemed to be the same regardless when I tested it out on the robots in the practice range. She's got a sleep dart, which knocks foes unconscious for ~6 seconds. To balance it, once that player is hit by an enemy shot, they wake up again, even if it hasn't been 6 seconds. The other ability works like Widow's poison trap, except it explodes on contact. Teammates with in the "blast radius" are healed for a short period of time, enemies the opposite effect. Ana's ult is a boost for a single player of your choosing. It allows you to turn any character into a fast super ultra powerful beast. It increases speed and damage, and reduces damage taken. I can only imagine what it would do to a Winston or Bastion using their ults. Even cooler is the idea of making a Zayra who's weapon is at 100 power the boost. Unstoppable. She's fun to play. Could likely play well on almost every map type, but mostly payload maps.

I just tried out the test realm a few days ago. Ana might be one of new favorite characters, and D.VA is so much better now. I can't wait until this patch hits the main servers.

I've been doing well with D.Va so hopefully with the buff it'll be a tour de force of destruction.

Also Genji. Hadn't played him a lot but got a few games in and he's good. Reflecting Junkrat grenades never gets old.

    New changes have gone live.

    - Ana is officially added to the roster.
    - Zenyatta now has 50 HP, 150 shields equaling to 200 health points (previously had 100 shields). Primary attack decreased to 40 DMG from 45. Secondary is increased to 40 from 35 (per Orb). Orb of Harmony and Discord reach teammates and enemies much, much quicker, from 30 to 120 (meters per second I believe is how they judge speed). His Ult doubles his movement speed and does 300 healing per second up from 200.
    - D.Va's defense matrix works like Pharah's hoverjet. 4 seconds total protection if used all at once, 10 seconds to fully recharge, but the ability is a hold ability instead of a "use once and wait until the cooldown is done". Also, default controls for the matrix is set to the Alt Fire location (Mouse 2 or the left trigger on controllers). Her Ult now takes 3 seconds to explode instead of 4, and D.Va herself no longer takes damage from it. Means enemies will have less time to react and D.Va doesn't have to run for her life when she uses it... also means, those super long "KOBE" trick shots with her ult are less likely to be successful.
    - McCree's primary does full damage at longer ranges, but lower damage at extreme ranges. Having been picked off by ranges I didn't think possible in the PTR, I'm not sure it's a good choice. You can practically snipe with him now...
    - Mercy can move while performing her Ult now, but it doesn't charge as quickly as it originally did (takes 30% longer). There is also no delay for her Guardian Angel Ability. Her damage boost ability no longer can be stacked with other Mercys (seems pretty logical, IMO).
    - Solider's primary spread recovery has a delay now, so he is only really effective in close ranges. You can't melt people's health bars from long range like you could before (assuming you can aim... unlike me).
    - All self healing abilities (Lucio, Roadhog, Bastion, Soldier 76), now help charge Ults, but those characters had a 10% Ult charge time increase. That 10% isn't going to be that much of a difference if you use your healing abilities often.
    - There is a one hero limit in Competitive Matches only. This doesn't effect Quick Play.
    - Overtime's fuse is 20% faster. There is also an added 2 seconds to the respawn timer. This effects all modes.
    - The Requirements for Zen's Rapid Discord achievement is more lenient.
    - Chat can now be hidden during game by pressing CTRL+Shift+C or typing "/hidechat" in the chat.
    - 21:9 aspect ratio added to video options. Not sure if that means duel monitors is supported yet, but those extra wide monitors sure are.

Other less important changes and the important ones listed above are listed in their entirety (including full details of Ana's abilities) in Blizzard's official patch notes found here.

    Edit-
Fun addition: Listened to this remix of the "Play of the Game" theme, while typing this post down.

A player named "Seagull" is just deadly with him. He's won matches in under 2 minutes with him.
He's actually so good with Genji, it gets boring to watch:

Really dislike having to switch to Lucio to have a chance at winning some matches in Quick Play. I want to play something else, but I also want to win. Very conflicting.

Overwatch Day 137: Finding more and more people who bitch about the lack of healer in a team in quick play without thinking about switching themselves.

You'll have to excuse me, tards. I'd like to try playing something other than my best characters. Can't very well get better with D.Va or Pharah if I'm playing Zarya, Lucio, Symmetra, or Winston all the time.

The good news is that there are supposedly Halloween themed stuff coming within the next week... and the constant rumors of this "Sombra" hero coming sooner than later are coming in faster than the wind speed of Hurricane Matthew.
Also, Symmetra is to be getting a rework, but we're not expected to see it until November at the earliest.

Haven't played in about a month. Will jump back in, but I think new maps are needed more than anything. 23 heroes (including Sombra) is plenty, but the maps are feeling a bit sparse.

They had a new one come out shortly after the Olympics. It's a really good map, IMO. It's a hybrid map like Numbani.

Eichenwalde? I did play it a little bit when it came out. I've also just downloaded the new patch with the Halloween content so I'll try that as well.

I guess my point is just that the game needs maps more than heroes. Or maybe even a new mode, like a permanent version of the new update.

If they do a permanent version of the new update, they'll need to improve the experience. Larger maps with stages and more character options... And a reason to explore.

New stuff announced for the game yesterday:

    - New hero "Sombra" officially announced. Hacks enemies' abilities making them unusable, hacks medpacks, has a cloaking ability, has a temporary teleport device, placed in the attack category. Dumb people on the Overwatch forums already think she's "OP" even though there is still only a couple hours of gameplay footage and that she hasn't been released on the PTR yet. Speaking of PTR, she's
supposed to be release on it after Blizzcon, people are saying this Tuesday at the latest.

The Overwatch "short" that announced the character:

    Abilities video:

    - New map "Oasis" set to come out in December. Apparently has a jump-pad it (like Quake 3). There are no official videos. Just screenshots. It's a control point capture map (like Anubis or Hanamura).

    - Quick play to be set at a 1 hero limit. Means that people can play normal matches without stupid troll teams filling up matches with Meis and Torbs, but you don't have to worry about losing because you don't lose a ranking like in competitive.

    - New Arcade mode replacing the weekly brawl. Arcade mode is actually a bunch of different modes. 1v1 and 3v3 Elimination on a new smaller snow themed map designed for that type of play, called Ecopoint: Antarctica. The 3v3 Elimination is like Last Man Standing. Also includes a playlist of the most popular weekly brawls, and a "No Limits" mode which is where people will be able to hero stack to their liking. Also made the Mystery Hero brawl it's own mode. 1v1 is a mystery hero type as well.

    - Overwatch League. It's like E-Sports except it's a league.

    - A new "Oni" skin for Genji which is unlocked after playing in 15 matches of Heroes of the Storm... which is Blizzard's MOBA. Which mean's I'm probably not getting it.
