I have this game and ive played it many times when i end a session and quit game, the next time i load where i left in my last session has been saved and i can continue playing. But for some reason this does not auto save as it used to i now end a session. Ut when i reload next time its not been saved where i lect last time. The Saved Games screen is empty and i have to start the level from mission one though i was maybe say on level 4.

I think maybe somehow i have turned off the auto load as the game says it has this in the manual.

I played about searching when the games loaded and i found options, there was an option saying " Saved daya auto upload"....

So i clicked on this and there was an on/off option it is on the Off... But if i click it to On a screen says " i have to join playstation plus...

Can anyone tell me in very simple terms how can i make this game to save where i leave it in missions im playing after i end a session, like the game used to do.

All my other games save after sessions. I have tried otjer copies of this same game, which also does not auto save .....

I'm pretty sure the "Saved Data Auto Upload" is basically a Cloud save thing. Say, if for whatever reason you need to replace your PS3 or the data on your PS3 gets corrupted, you can recover the data you've saved from the Cloud. The Cloud is basically a server (or group of servers) that is connected to the internet. It's basically a network data backup. In order to save and load to and from their server, you're PS3 needs to be connected to the internet and you need a Playstation Plus account.

Turning that on now isn't going to help you out at this point, and based on your posts in the past (and your apparent age), I wouldn't recommend you making use of the Cloud.

One thing about the Cloud is that most people don't understand it, they just think it's some magical system where their stuff is stored and don't really understand how it works.

Now, I am not familiar with how the PS3 works (I have one but don't use it), where saves are stored on the Hard Drive (and how to access them), and how Ghost Recon Future Soldier does it's saves, and Google has not been helpful. By best advice would be to make sure "Auto-Save" is on in the settings. Other than that, I'm not sure how much more I can help.

Many thanks and very pleased to know that things are not so easy my age, long before these electrical things of today, and i think i best leave well alone ill probably mess things right up, ill ask my old mate whose good with gadgetry he has a ps3 or he has one for his grandkids but perhaps he can have a look which would b better than me looking at things i know nothing about, and as you say judging by my previous posts.

You say see if the save options on in settings, i can find settings but when i do the auto saves turned to Off... When i click it to. ON it just tells me something about having to do something like being in a playstation account, but im always scared to alter anything case.i cant use the ps3 after altering anything, ill ask my mate i think he will be more daring than i as said hes good at pcs computers iphones, and modern gadgetry.

I do appreciate your help and replies that you have given me in the past, over a few years too trouble with getting older u tend to get worst at remembering and everything else. Theres little advantages getting older but least i have just restarted riding a motor bike after years without one, so im pleased with that if i can get a few years biking well ill die happy as bikes are my biggest love.

I remember when i was younger some old chap said to me " Dont get old"... Trouble is he never told me how not to get old so i cant pass on his advice to you.....lol

Many thanks, i think ive pressed something wrong that i often do and turned off the auto save recon my mate can sort that out maybe.

Much obliged for your time and help.
