EA have started off by not bothering to go to EA and are instead hosting live from both LA and London. And they wrapped it up. I half watched some of it whilst finishing off some work (on a Sunday - where is Jesus when you really need him?). Titanfall 2 out this October. It actually has a single-player this time, so already looking much more interesting than the first. FIFA 17 feat a new story mode, virtual managers and a real Jose Mourinho. I'm not convinced the story mode will be any good but at least they are trying to innovate, if by recycling a feature seen in other sports games. Mass Effect: Andromeda was just a teaser but looked neat, although let's be frank I don't need a teaser to tell me that I want to play this. The Mako is back. They showed off a very brief glimpse of Amy Hennig's (Uncharted 1-3) Star Wars single player game. Pretty pointless since there's literally zero information, but damn I want a Star Wars game and the graphics were out of this world. Battlefield 1 looked interesting just as the reveal. Again no in-game in the conference but they did stream a game with community players and it is playable at their shows so there's already footage. Really with this it's about if the game is bug-free more than anything. Finally there was Fe, which is EA's indie game for 2016. Nice. And something about e-sports in Madden. So, yeah. That took me eight minutes to type which incidentally is about the same amount of interesting footage from the event.
