Exactly what the title says. I see endless youtube videos of people who play the game together and have lots of success and fun doing so.

I'm not exactly great, but I'm not going to get better playing by myself.

I only have a couple weeks in which I can continue to play, though. After that, I won't be able to play until mid-March because of my job.

Are you on 360 or PC?

I haven't played it for a couple months now. I did a little when Armored Kill came out, but the vehicle whores killed it a little for me. I was supposed to look back after it settled, but I never did.

Also none of my friends play it anymore really, so I have very little reason to go back.

I'm assuming it comes with an online pass and, thus, there would be no sense getting a pre-owned copy or borrowing a copy?

Pretty much. It does have an offline campaign and some co-op missions, but the online part is the heart of it.

Yeah. I'm not that bothered about the campaign really.

The campaign is garbage anyhow... so is Co-Op, but you can unlock a few weapons through co-op.

Also, if you're not familiar with how Battlefield plays, you're going to have a rough go at first. It's not like CoD.

If you get the game, get the Premium Edition. You get the game and all of the "expansion packs" for 60 bucks. That's little more than half of what I paid in total. The Premium Edition combines the game and BF3 Premium. Both of which I purchased separately.

I've played BF before, but not particularly extensively. I know that it's a lot slower and the maps are a lot bigger.

Whenever I did play I played close quarters and ran around with a shotgun. During one TDM I managed to go like 100-15. Shotguns in this game are insanely good.

If you rank up kills for a shotgun in it you can end up making a ridiculous mid-range 1-shot-kill shotgun with the attachments you get. It's not fair by any means, but that's how it goes. After that you just need good reflexes and be able to aim at peoples chests. BOOM! Dead.

Exactly. It was the most fun I had in the game since CoD shotguns blow.

I wish I played it, I just don't have a PC that can run it and I refuse to get it for 360.

BF2 was a really fun game but it was always 100x's more fun when playing with clan mates on teamspeak. I'm guessing BF3 is the same way.
