Anyone watching it? It's pretty much the only thing my TV has been on all weekend.

The rules of rugby and fencing don't make a lick of sense to me... One thing I do know: The Colombian women's rugby team is not very good.
Saw some Dutch lady take a nasty spill on the cycling track. 15 minutes later saw an American girl squander a 40 second lead in view of the finish line; went from getting a gold to not getting squat because she had nothing left in the tank... 200 meters away from getting the first gold in the sport since the 80s.
An American won the first gold, doing the one thing the world knows the U.S. for... shooting a gun.
Yesterday, I relearned that you can hit the net in a serve while playing volleyball as long as it goes over.
The white water kayaking sport looks like fun. Handball does not.
Beach volleyball > Indoor Volleyball. Even men's. Those 6 on 6 matches with those giant dudes looks like chaos and is hard to follow.

Edit: I like the Winter Olympics better.

I think most people do. Even curling is more entertaining than about all Summer Olympic events.

Save women's beach volleyball. Because Kerri Walsh.

Cycling, water sports, rugby, and track and field are strangely interesting to me. Gymnastics is just as boring and uninteresting as ice skating dancing.
Cycling reminds me of cross country skiing.

I can't remember, is the triathlon part of the Summer Olympics?

Add Judo to the list of sports that I don't understand the rules to.

    Anyone die yet?

I saw that dude who broke his leg. I just assume the zika made his bones soft. Waiting for death.

Well, we came second. Or we did by the most used measure of gold > silver > bronze. Then Xinhua decided to suddenly use the most medals system to claim that China still came second. Damn communists.
