Monkey feathers. That was the one I wanted most of all. But thanks.

Warp? You wouldn't, by chance, remember what some of those song links I sent you were, would you? They've been taken down and I can't remember for the life of me what they were.

I adore Persona 4, by the way. Nice of them to add the party members sacrificing themselves to keep you alive at Social Link level uno. Eased things a bit.

Oh, and it was a standard physical attack that was reflected, and then it was the enemy's turn. Three guesses what he did.

Right. Characters. The first guy you get...I f*cking hate him with the fury of a thousand exploding suns. I have never, AND ETERNAL PHOENIX MEANS NEVER, seen more of a douche. The boxing guy and the two girls are all right, though.

Convince me to go back to Persona 3. I'm still mad at it for screwing me over. Battle system is flawed. Either make detecting damage reflection faster so party doesn't get owned by enemies while doing it, remove damage reflection entirely, or don't hand your player a game over for the main character hitting 0 HP in battle. Having all three...makes me want to break the disc. Which is a big deal, for me.

Yeah I know what you mean. I barely have any extra money nowadays. I think the only new game I own is Halo 4 right now. But income tax will provide more games hopefully haha

What are your thoughts about Tokyo Jungle or whatever that game is called? The one where you play as the animals in a desolated Tokyo.

Also, we need to actually get together and play some games.

I've got money coming. PSP or DS? Keep in mind I'm an RPG fanatic and decidedly NOT a masochist.

I don't have the cymbal set, I just have the original Rock Band 1 set. I do have the keyboard and every other instrument though. I really don't play Rock Band at all anymore and would like to get rid of everything, but I don't want to get ripped off.

I borrowed the first MGS from a friend of mine once, but for some reason I just couldn't get into it. It still sounds like a fun series but...idk. Barely got anywhere in the game before returning it to him.

The rest of that game was gold, even though it took me a while to see it. Well, not all gold. The Exp gain versus difficulty ratio was off. Grinding to get through a dungeon shouldn't take several days. Or maybe I was just doing it wrong. I don't know.

What I do know is that the first disc of Wild Arms 2 is the very best RPG I've ever played. The second disc...not so much. I prefer enemies with relatable motivations, as opposed to some energy force that's coming to destroy us because that's what it does, man.

Luke's such an asshole. I'm amazed everyone puts up with him. I'd have told him off righteous by now. Just got on the land ship...thing. I've been playing Kingdoms of Amalur-which I picked up at the same time-so that's why there's been little to no progress.

You should see the FFVI one. A comment says that it was based on a Fullmetal Alchemist opening. But this one...I love it.

Hmm. Maybe I can get a used Wii. I don't know. Insert terribad Wii joke here. But the JRPG developers going primarily PS3 is killing me. I could be Ateliering it up and saving the last tower in Ar Tonelico 3, but nooooo. Stupid Sony. It's all their fault, either through deviousness or having a superior console in said developers' minds.

Isn't that a PS3 release? I don't have one of those. Or a Wii, for that matter. I'd be swooing over Xenoblade if I did.

Cute things don't annoy me, though. It's like having a touch fanservice in an otherwise ecchi-free anime. Comes with Japanese media, because they're just funny that way. So I forgive them, those wacky scamps. What I can't stand is yet another idealistic young protagonist. One more, and I'm going to look up airfares to Japan. Somebody feels the need to die, or they would avoid the astonishingly massively overused cliche.

Yep. Might have overpaid at 30 bucks, but whatever. Right now Luke is a spoiled royal in the boonies. It's amusing.

Tears of Blood had a system where every dungeon had it's own elemental chi, and that was what you and the enemies used to power your attacks. The more there was, the more powerful the attack. It did get used up in battle, but was instantly back to normal once battle ended. Each character had different combat styles (one default, the rest found or earned) that used different elements. Magical healing was a style, or maybe more than one style. I don't know. Each style had two elements that it used that were somewhat aligned. Like water and ice, or earth and mountain. Your timed button presses had a chance to advance the style, giving you a more powerful (yet requiring more button presses and resetting to the first wimpy attack if you spaced for a second and failed) attack that used the element the last one didn't (up to a fourth attack for most styles). And just like the sequel, apparently, you could only move one character at a time. The enemies? No such restriction.

And, in a move that did not help my OCD at all, the party size is three but the character total was five. That was after a split that send one of the two healers and a friend on her own little journey, where they met yet two more characters. Ay. Two three person parties. Nine characters. Really? Really?

Magna Carta 2 was good? The first one left me a little cold, honestly. Battle system annoyed me.
