Play as Doryu:
Successfully complete story mode as Ogre.

Play as Gale:
Successfully complete story mode with five characters.

Play as King:
Successfully complete story mode with nine characters.

Play as Lucia:
Complete Ranking Battle mode.

Play as Ogre:
Successfully complete story mode as Gale and King.

Expert difficulty:
Successfully complete Ranking Battle mode.

Original finishing moves:
Successfully complete Story mode as Haru, Elie, Musica and Griff & Plue to unlock their original finishing move from Groove Adventure Rave.

Hint: Alternate special moves:
When battling with certain characters, there is an extremely small chance of a different special move than what is normally used. These occurrences are extremely rare, but are quite amazing. For example, Haru uses an alternate special attack called "12 Wings of the Fire Dragon".

Hint: Musica Juggle combo:
This may be difficult to do but if timed correctly you can juggle with Musica for a bit. However, if the enemy is close to death it will not work, so use this early. Press R to sweep Musica's spear under the enemy's feet. Once done, get under them and press Up + B to do a spin in the air. Then if timed correctly, press R while in the air to do his Spinning Silver Flower move to do the same thing, only more damaging. This is also a great combo once you use his battle cry "I won't hold back like Haru!" to increase damage and attack range.
