Hint: Neo-tanks:
Find one of the Black Hole Army maps. Finish the missions
that the map gives you. You will be able to build Neo-tanks, with
only that country. This is also helpful for future missions in
which you can use COs from other nations.

Yellow Comet: In the Show Stopper level, find the Lab level in
the south-western most neutral city.
Green Earth: In the Sinking Feeling mission, find the Lab level
in the southernmost city on the western island
Hint: Hot Pursuit mission in hard campaign
mode:
Use the following trick to win the mission with a "C"
rank. This is the mission where you must choose three people and
fight against Storm. Start by selectin Sami for the middle, Drake
for the left, and Olaf for the right. This combination may seem
strange, but it works. Start with Sami, moving her mechs down
to capture the two bases and moving her other units up five paces.
Sami's basic strategy is to keep producing mechs and infantry;
also make sure you capture the airport, not to use it, but just
to keep the enemy from using it. Drake and Olaf's strategy is
to clear their area and fire their rockets in strategic positions
so Sami can survive. Also use their powers to help Sami even further.
There powers are the most important thing in this mission. If
Sami survives the onslaught, then the chance that you will win
the battle is great.
Information in this section was contributed by Jordan Ring.
Hint: Green Earth final mission:
In the last mission for the Green Earth campaignm select
Max, Jess, and Kanbei as your COs. Note: Use this tactic if you
have either the Green Earth or Orange Star Neotanks. Build a northern
defense by the big cannon. This should divert the enemy towards
them, leaving the south (Yellow Comet) free. Go to the island
east of its capt cities, base, and port. Build two to three Landers,
two rockets, an A-Air gun, and one Md Tank or Neotank if available.
Send loaded Landers to the isle with the big cannon. Take out
the big cannon with rockets. Continue north and stay out of minicannon
range. With rockets, take out the cannon. Go 1N take out the pipe
seam.
Information in this section was contributed by SuperGoku1988.
Hint: Final mission in normal campaign
mode:
Have Eagle on the left, Colin in the middle, and Kanbei
on the right. Capture all the cities and bases around each person.
Use Colin as the distraction by producing massive amounts of units.
At about the sixteenth day, Eagle will be able to destroy at least
one of the giant cannons with bombers. Also use Eagle as a distraction.
The entire time, focus on destroying the right cannon with Eagle.
This will help Kanbei out a lot. Do not let Sturm hurt Kanbei.
Go all the way up the side with Kanbei, and hopefully Sturm will
ignore him. Capture all the bases up the side and block the section
where the big cannon is located so Sturm cannot get through. Use
a copter to block this, and eventually break through the side
at the top and destroy the giant laser with a bomber. Use common
sense and this mission will be easy. Also, destroy the mini-cannons
on the right side with bombers.
Information in this section was contributed by Jordan Ring.
Use the following trick to get an easy "S" rank in the
final campaign mission. Use Andy, Olaf and Eagle to fight Sturm.
Basically, Andy and Olaf are decoys. You can use them to constantly
harass Sturm forces. You will find that most of the enemy units
will be sent to engage those two. Use Eagle to create bombers,
as well as a few tanks and infantry, to keep enemy units at bay.
Take Eagle's bombers up towards the left hand side of Sturm's
laser, where there will be pipeline that can be bombed to get
to the laser base. If you can do this fairly quickly, your bombers
will meet no opposition, and you will gain an easy win.
Hint: Final mission in hard campaign mode:
In the final mission in hard campaign, have Eagle at
the bottom. It does not really matter who you have on the top
left or right. Start with Eagle capturing the two airports on
his left and right. Then, get two Bombers and move them directly
beside the black cannon on the left, keeping in mind that you
are out of its reach. Then, move the two Bombers up. The black
cannon on the right will fire on one of them. While its firing
on it, move your other bomber with full HP and destroy the mini-cannon
that is protecting the deathray. On the next day, destroy the
Deathray as it has no defense.
Information in this section was contributed by John Duncan.
Hint: Yellow Comet CO:
On the final mission, you are prompted to chose an
Orange Star, Blue Moon, then Green Earth CO. If you wish to use
a Yellow Comet CO, press Up or Down until you get to it
at the CO select menu.
Information in this section was contributed by Simpson.
Hint: Olaf as Santa Claus:
Unlock Olaf, buy his color edit, and select #8.
Information in this section was contributed by PHILIP SHACKLEY.
Hint: Easy money:
If you defeat a country's factory but do not have the
money to buy any COs or maps, just restart the campaign. None
of your early COs or maps will be gone. You can replay the campaign
and do all the easy missions and get about 300 points every time
then easily buy the COs and maps.
Information in this section was contributed by cjporter.
Hint: Building defense and offense with
bases:
When playing missions where you only start off with
bases, use this trick to gain defensive and offensive capabilities
as soon as possible. Deploy the following units in order to have
balanced offensive and defensive abilities.
Information in this section was contributed by Dino Mehic.
1. Infantry on all bases
2. APC on one base
3. Tank unit on one base
4. Mech units on all bases
5. Artillery unit on one base
6. Rocket unit on one base
7. Medium Tank on one base
8. Neotank on one base
9. Missile unit on one base
10. Remaining unlisted units can be deployed in any order after
step 9.
Hint: Save your units:
If you have a APC with a unit in it, a T-Copter with
a unit in it, a Lander with one or two units in it, or a Cruiser
with an unit in it, the CPU will believe that it is better to
kill two units at once. It will go for the APC rather than the
unit next to it, except if a unit is capturing a property. If
that is happening, it will go after that if it is directly next
to it.
Information in this section was contributed by CBURKE.
Hint: Waste your opponents money:
Use the following trick when fighting the CPU or a
friend and you want to prevent them from summoning a Neotank.
Damage a unit on a city or base. At the beginning of your opponent's
turn, they will have to spend money to repair the unit. This can
also help you a lot in Campaign mode. If the opponent has a damaged
lander, bomber, or other expensive unit, it will cost more money
to repair. This means they will have less money to spend elsewhere.
Information in this section was contributed by CBURKE.
Hint: Winning battles:
If you are having a difficult time winning battles
where you start with nothing but a couple of bases, try these
tips. Capture the farthest base or airport as soon as you can.
Anti-air guns are very effective at stopping enemy units from
capturing bases. Do not be afraid to capture a base if one of
your units are damaged.
Information in this section was contributed by Polaris1110.
If you are having trouble winning any battle, place any type of
unit onto one of the enemy's bases, ports, or airports. This will
stop the enemy from making any type of unit.
Information in this section was contributed by John Duncan.
If you are having trouble completing the levels where you are
up against the factories, place one of your units a space below
the factory doors. This will stop the factory from producing any
more units.
Information in this section was contributed by John Duncan.
On the first day, build the strongest unit possible and send them
to harass your opponent's base. On the second turn, build capturing
units and send them to your enemy's base, or just capture cities/bases/others
around you. Doing this you should result in an easier win.
Information in this section was contributed by Jack Z.
Never leave an indirect combat unit alone in the midst of an enemy.
An enemy unit can just march up to your unit and destroy it quickly,
since indirect units have low defensive power. Instead, make a
pair. For example, place a strong rocket unit in the midst of
an enemy then have a small artillery unit protect it. For most
direct combat units, you can just give them a pure beating. March
up to a unit and destroy an enemy unit. Just be careful that the
enemy is not stronger then you are. For example, it would be foolish
to attack an enemy medium tank with a regular tank. For sea units,
it is mostly all about defense. Use the following tips for battleships.
Like indirect combat units, never leave a battleship alone in
the middle of the sea. It would be a good idea to have a cruiser
follow it, since it can attack both submarines and air-units.
If you have some extra money, complete your defense by deploying
a submarine. For air units, it is all about teamwork. This focuses
on the B-copter. A group of B-copters is a lethal tactic. They
can just march along and destroy everything in thier path because
each copter can protect the other one. Not to mention, the join
command can be useful. This is same for the fighters. Go with
a group of at least three fighters and attack. You will be surprised
at how much damage you can inflict. This does not pertain to bombers.
Bombers are somewhat weak when in groups because the enemy AI
focuses on demolishing bombers first, then any other unit in the
game. Making a group of bombers would be foolish because it would
expose them to anti-air units such as missiles. Make bombers separate.
Bombers do massive damage and can flee quickly if they are in
danger of being destroyed.
Information in this section was contributed by Dino Mehic.
Hint: Easy win in Fog Of War mode:
In battles with fog of war, turn up the sound. You
can hear what kind of units the opponent has and learn what section
they are on on the map by where the camera goes.
Information in this section was contributed by CBURKE.
Capture as many cites, airports, or anything that will give you
money. Make as many rockets and artillery as possible and place
them in the woods, ruins, or anything else that will give you
cover. When the enemy arrives, rain fire down on them.
Information in this section was contributed by Owen L.
Hint: Combine units:
Using Sensei's power, your infantry, or even better,
mech units, can combine. However, 8 HP is not exactly lost. It
gets converted into funds which can build up. Also, watch your
opponents; direct the unit's ammunition. You can force them to
run out of their primary ammo by attacking them with the correct
unit.
Information in this section was contributed by Felipe Lopez.
Hint: Search fog of war maps for troops
without wasting moves:
To see if an area covered by fog of war has troops
in it, move your troops over that area. However, instead of telling
them to wait after moving, press B to go back and search
another area. If nothing happens, the space is empty. If occupied,
your unit will be forced to wait. Note: This uses a lot of fuel.
Information in this section was contributed by B. Stepping.
Hint: Move an artillery unit and fire in
the same day:
As Eagle, move an artillery or rocket unit into range
of what you want to hit. Then, use Eagle's Super CO power and
fire.
Information in this section was contributed by cjporter.
Glitch: Fog of war:
In campaign mode, during the fog of war your enemy
can always see you, even if you are outside the visual range of
all enemy units. For example, an enemy rocket is on plain four
squares left of your recon that is also on plain. The rocket can
still fire on you, even though it should not be able to see you.
An exception is when your unit is in a forest and there are no
enemy units beside you.
